​Kaleidoscope Community of Practice (CoP) is a professional learning community for special education teachers focused on Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) in mathematics, literacy and behavior.

• Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) Supports for ARC Members​ provides resources and tools that assist ARCs (Admissions and Release Committee) in their decision-making related to specially designed instruction to improve educational outcomes for students with disabilities.

• IEP [Individual Education Program] Tip Sheet: What is Special Education? A Focus on Specially Designed Instruction​ introduces and defines special education with a focus on specially designed instruction and provides tips for implementation.  
• HLP [High Leverage Practice] #12: Systematically Design Instruction Toward a Specific Learning Goal | High-Leverage Practices​ provides a video that includes a definition, background, and rationale for HLP 12. It also highlights the importance of setting specific and measurable learning goals for students, organizing and sequencing lessons logically, and supporting students in organizing new knowledge by providing scaffolds and structures.

• What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) Practice Guides​ inform classroom practices on a variety of topics. The practice guides present research-based recommendations for educators to address challenges in classrooms and schools.
