Gifted and Talented Summer Camps 2025 – All camps or opportunities on this page are offered at no cost or have available financial aid.
- Davidson Institute Young Scholars Program Offers free programs to profoundly gifted students ages 5-18 and their families. Young Scholars gives students the opportunity to connect and engage in a community that understands their needs.
- Lumiere Education Offers 11 free summer Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs for high school students. Founded by Harvard and Oxford researchers, the Lumiere Research Scholar Program helps students work one-on-one with a doctoral scholar mentor to learn about the cutting edge in their field of interest and produce an independent research project.
- Kentucky Governor’s Schools - The Kentucky Governor's Schools offer transformative programs for high school students across various disciplines.
- The Kentucky Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs (GSE) provides a free, intensive three-week program that develops lifelong entrepreneurial skills, potentially shaping students' futures in college or business.
- The Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA), funded by the state and private fundraising, offers a no-cost, three-week summer program of intense arts instruction through The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, allowing students to explore their creativity and discover new aspects of themselves.
- The Kentucky Governor’s Scholars (GSA) Program fosters academic and personal growth with a balanced liberal arts and sciences curriculum, combined with co-curricular and residential life experiences. Students compete for selection and attend the program free of charge.
- National History Academy Provides a four-week, college-prep residential program limited to 90 rising 10th, 11th and 12th-grade students, and based just outside of Middleburg, VA. The four-week Academy runs from July 6 to August 1, 2025, and is a life-changing opportunity for students who have a passion for learning about American history, law and government. This short video featuring past students captures much of the spirit and substance of the program. Financial aid is available on a need-basis.
- Northern Kentucky University (NKU) Summer Camps Offer students in grades 2-12 week-long camps exploring STEM, filmmaking, board game design, nature, and finance. With flexible scheduling options and hands-on experiences, these camps inspire young learners to discover new passions and imagine exciting futures. Financial assistance is available.
- Western Kentucky University (WKU) Center for Gifted Studies Offers residential and day camps that provide exciting educational opportunities for gifted young people in grades 1 through 10. Financial assistance is available.
