The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), Office of Career and Technical Education, Montgomery Area Technology Center in Mt. Sterling, KY has an opening for a Health Science Instructor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program.
Perform other duties as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught;
OR Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught;
ORFour years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Requires current RN license and one-year long-term care experience obtained in an approved skilled nursing facility or distinct part (SNF or NF) long-term care unit as defined in Federal Regulations Part 483 – Requirements for State and Long-Term Care Facilities.
