K-T Instructor (Machine Tool)

The Kentucky Department of Education, Office of Career and Technical Education, Marion County Area Technology in Lebanon, KY has an opening for a Machine Tool Instructor.
 

The Marion County Area Technology Center is looking for an experienced, hard-working, dedicated person to help students in Marion County and surrounding counties reach their career goal in the area of Machine Tool. This position is very rewarding as you see students in grades 9-12 further their education and complete their career pathway. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaches occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program.

Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught;

OR

Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught;

OR

Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to acquire the personal national certifications applicable to the program area. Applicant can be hired without the needed personal certifications, but must acquire the needed certification at the next available period.

In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Kentucky Teachers' Retirement System.

Salary dependent on rank and experience.
