The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), Office of Career and Technical Education (OCTE), Campbell County Area Technology Center in Alexandria, Kentucky has an opening for an Electrical Technology Instructor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program.
Perform other duties as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught;
OR
Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught;
OR
Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to acquire the personal national certifications applicable to the program area (NCCER, etc.). Applicant can be hired without the needed personal (NCCER) certification but must acquire the needed certification at the next available testing period.
In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Teachers' Retirement System.
Salary: Dependent upon rank and experience.
