Teaching Tools
Welcome to Teaching Tools! We've designed Teaching Tools to provide teachers, schools and districts with a Web-based community of learning. This is where you can share standards-based resources as you strive to move your students to proficiency and beyond.
The Core Content for Assessment and Academic Expectations provide parameters for test developers as they design the assessments, including multiple choice, open response, and both on-demand writing and writing portfolios. Core Content will be directly assessed in multiple-choice items, and it will provide the context for open-response items in which students are asked to apply knowledge and skills.
