Below are several opportunities that exist in supporting this program within the state.
Host a Verizon Thinkfinity Training: Are you interested in learning more about the resources at Thinkfinity? Gather several interested folks from your school or district for a 3-hour or more training session.
Become a Verizon Thinkfinity Field Trainer: Are you interested in helping teachers use Thinkfinity Web resources effectively in their classrooms? Become a Thinkfinity field trainer.
Become a Verizon Thinkfinity Certified Trainer: Do you have experience as a Thinkfinity Field Trainer and would like to join others in expanding the Thinkfinity Kentucky Program?
Develop standards-based units of study that include the resources from Verizon Thinkfinity: Do you use/develop standards-based units of study for your instruction? Would you like to share your unit with others across the state?
Submit a Success Story: Have you had an extremely successful lesson or a successful Thinkfinity professional development experience? Share your story with others. Do you have a favorite Thinkfinity lesson that you use and would like to share with others? Send the URL to Earlene Cool with a brief description of why this lesson is successful. These will be posted on the KDE website for all to view.
