Visit the ThinkQuest site and use the rich library of web sites created by students for students across the globe.
Create a ThinkQuest site and submit it to STLP State Championship Products Competition in January 2010.
NOTE: During the 2009-2010 school year, there will be no International Contest while Oracle Education Foundation redoes the competition. STLP ThinkQuest Ky is active for 2009-2010. The rubric from the International Site will be used for scoring at State Championship 2010.
The ThinkQuest (TQ) program provides an exciting student centered approach to learning. Grouped in teams, students synthesize core content, design original digital art work and images to create powerful in-depth, interactive web sites.
ThinkQuest Library
Over 25,000 students and teachers from around the world have submitted nearly 1500 interactive web sites on topics as diverse as the exploration of Mars, the physics of baseball, or the plays of William Shakespeare.
The ThinkQuest program's extensive library of web site entries is used as an educational resource by millions of students, teachers, businesses, citizens, and government agencies each day.
Al Weis, Founder
"The ThinkQuest competitions were designed to help students and teachers develop quality educational materials for the Internet to be used by other students, teachers, and schools everywhere," said Al Weis, founder, past president and past chief executive officer of ThinkQuest, Advanced Networks. ThinkQuest is now part of the Oracle Foundation.
ThinkQuest has been listed by TechLearning as one of the 10 Top Innovations Projects.
