This social studies team conducted regional workshops across the state on the topic of differentiated instruction in social studies. The team wrote three sample differentiated units to share with teachers in these workshops.
6h grade - This unit is on China and matches the Program of Studies for the sixth grade.
7th grade - This unit is on the Middle Ages and matches the Program of Studies for the seventh grade
8th grade - This unit on rights and responsibilities of citizens and matches the Progam of Studies for eighth grade. This unit can also be adapted for fifth grade.
