Family literacy programs provide disadvantaged parents and their children with tools and strategies for success in school and life. Parents become full partners in their child’s education and interact with their children through planned, high quality literacy experiences.
While National Family Literacy Day® is celebrated on November 1st, many communities hold events throughout the month of November. Below are resources to help families, schools, businesses, agencies and communities create special events to celebrate family literacy.
