Beginning in February 2008, Kentucky, as the birthplace of Lincoln, kicked-off the bicentennial celebration. The Kentucky Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission has planned many events and created resources for teachers. The newest resource available, created by the Lincoln Bicentennial Teacher Network, are lessons and a unit of study for P-12 teachers to use in their classrooms.
