Program of Studies
The Program of Studies for Kentucky Schools Grades Primary-12 helps ensure that all students across the commonwealth are provided with common content and have opportunities to learn at a high level.

Implementation Manual for the Program of Studies
The Implementation Manual for the Program of Studies provides both general information on implementing educational programs and specific suggestions on how to design courses using the content from the Program of Studies for Kentucky Schools Primary - 12.

Core Content for Assessment
Core Content for Assessment - version 4.1, represents the content that has been identified as essential for all students to know and will be included on the state assessment. This content is designed for use with, not instead of, Kentucky's Academic Expectations and Program of Studies to provide the focus for the development of the Kentucky Core Content Test (KCCT).

Student Performance Standards
These new standards set the stage for the work that lies ahead of Kentucky's educators: To improve the academic achievement of all our students.

Literacy PERKS,.  (Program Effectiveness Review for Kentucky Schools)
Literacy PERKS is designed for use by school, district, and state-level reviewers.  While the Nine Elements relate to the Standards in Kentucky's Standards and Indicators for School Improvement, the indicators below each Element do not correspond to the SISI indicators.  Eventually, users will be able to click on the words in bold for more information.  At the school level, the best use of Literacy PERKS occurs when Literacy Team members (see section seven) complete the review and use the results to develop a schoolwide literacy plan (see section nine).
