Teaching Tools is a result of data and feedback from educators and educational partners throughout Kentucky. We're continually revising and updating these pages

Literacy Without Limits: Help for Struggling Students, Grades 4-12
Produced in partnership with Kentucky Educational Television, this DVD-ROM resource showcases strategies that content area teachers can use to help students who struggle with literacy. It features 90+ video clips shot in classrooms across Kentucky. Literacy Without Limits is thorough, accessible, and useful for 4-12 teachers in multiple subjects and classroom settings. KDE is providing a free copy of this resource to every public school in the state.

Mathematics and Science Partnership Products

Kentucky's Mathematics and Science Partnership projects have created a variety of products designed to be used as resources for Kentucky teachers.

Arts and Humanities - 2007 - 2008 Pilot Project Review Tool
This is the tool that was used for the Arts and Humanities Program Review Pilot Project for the 2007 - 2008 school year. These documents are in draft form.

Developing Quality Open Response and Multiple Choice Items for the Classroom
KDE’s Open Response Questions in the Classroom manual has been revised. The updated manual now contains guidance for constructing both KCCT-like open response and multiple choice items. Tips for creating scoring guides and improving classroom practice, as well as an electronic open response template are also included.

Educational Planning and Assessment System (EPAS) College Readiness Standards and Program of Studies Standards Alignment
