Agribiology is a one-credit course that meets the "life science requirement" for science credit. This course may count as one of the three required credits in science for high school graduation. Agribiology uses agricultural contexts to present the required life science core content for assessment, as outlined in the program of studies. As students study practical agricultural concepts, they apply scientific ways of thinking and working to real-life problems. The agriculture teacher and science teacher work together in planning and evaluating the course.
