(FRANKFORT, Ky.) – The Commission on Interscholastic Athletics will meet Tuesday, August 7, in the State Board Room of the Capital Plaza Tower in Frankfort.
The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. Agenda items include discussion of athletic issues with representatives of the Kentucky High School Athletics Association (KHSAA).
The Commission on Interscholastic Athletics was originated by the Kentucky Board of Education in April to review the operational efficiency of the KHSAA. Its members represent the seven Kentucky judicial districts:
· District 1 -- Kenneth Shadowen, Benton
- District 2 -- Thomas Gumm, Glasgow
- District 3 -- Jane Adams Venters, Somerset
- District 4 -- Sherron A. Hoehler Gambert, Louisville
- District 5 -- Harvey D. Thompson, Lexington
- District 6 -- Brenda Jackson, Shelbyville
- District 7 -- Zella Wells, Ed.D., Paintsville
