(FRANKFORT, Ky.) -- The Kentucky Department of Education is seeking dedicated teachers, administrators and other certified staff to serve as Highly Skilled Educators in the state's assistance program for schools.
Approximately 20 individuals will be selected to participate in the program, which places educators in schools that do not meet their goals in the statewide assessment and accountability system. Highly Skilled Educators support school staffs to improve teaching and learning.
Each educator will undergo extensive training before and during his or her two-year participation in the program.
