(FRANKFORT, Ky.) -- The Kentucky Board of Education will meet Wednesday and Thursday, August 11 and 12, in the State Board Room on the first floor of the Capital Plaza Tower in Frankfort.
On Wednesday, the board's Internal Audit Committee will meet at 8:15 a.m. The board will meet in full session at 8:45 a.m., then adjourn for committee meetings at 9:30 a.m. The full board will reconvene at 1:15 p.m., with further committee meetings beginning at 2 p.m. On Thursday, the board's Curriculum and Assessment Committees will meet in joint session at 8:30 a.m., and the full board will meet at 9:30 a.m.
Agenda items include a Request for Proposals for the Commonwealth Accountability Testing System (CATS), a review of the state's writing assessment and the presentation of the annual Joseph F. Kelly Award.
