(FRANKFORT, Ky.) -- The Kentucky Board of Education will meet Wednesday and Thursday, October 8 and 9, in the State Board Room of the Capital Plaza Tower in Frankfort.
On Wednesday, the full board will meet beginning at 8:30 a.m. The board's committees will meet at 9 a.m., with the full board reconvening at 1:15 p.m. More committee meetings will begin at 2:30 p.m. On Thursday, the board's Evaluation Appeals Panel will meet in closed session beginning at 8 a.m. The board will meet in full session at 10 a.m., with a special Audit Committee meeting at 12:30 p.m. The full board will reconvene at 1 p.m.
Agenda items include state and national test score data, federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements and the state preschool program.
