(FRANKFORT, Ky.) -- A Kentucky educator will get the surprise of a lifetime this week, when one of Kentucky's Milken Family Foundation Educators will be notified.
On Friday, October 11, Education Commissioner Gene Wilhoit and a representative of the Milken Family Foundation will visit a school in Spencer County. Governor Paul Patton will join the two for part of the event.
Next week, another educator will be notified of his/her selection. Details on that visit will be provided early next week.
CONFIDENTIALITY IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT IN THIS VISIT. THE WINNER DOES NOT KNOW OF HIS/HER SELECTION. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT SCHOOL OR DISTRICT OFFICIALS OR ENTER THE SCHOOL BUILDING PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL OF EDUCATION COMMISSIONER WILHOIT.
