Standard Numbering for Bus Seats The standard installation of bus seat numbers will be as follows:

All seats on the passenger side of the bus are odd numbers. All seats on the driver side of the bus are even numbers. The numbering will commence from the front of the bus. The seats on the passenger side will be numbered 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and so on.  For 39 inch seats, numbering underneath the seats will read 1-A (Aisle), 2-M(Middle), 3-W(Window), and so on.  For 30 inch seats, numbering will read 1-A (Aisle), 3-W(Window), and so on. All numbering must be in black and 2 inches in size.

Pupil Transportation Directory
The Driver Trainer Directory contains names of all the individuals in the Commonwealth of Kentucky who can train school bus drivers.  Information is updated annually.  Any requests for changes or additions to this Directory should be send by email to Samantha Engstrom at Samantha.Engstrom@education.ky.gov.
