School Bus Maintenance Program

The state school bus maintenance program provides a uniform standard for maintenance management in local school districts.  The program also ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations pertaining to fleet vehicle operations. It provides guidance to districts on best management practices using modified versions of the American Trucking Association Maintenance Management Program and standard industry practice.  For additional information about this program please reference Chapter 6 in the School Bus Inspector Manual.
