“Send me a screenshot of that.” Those words always bring up the question, “How?” Is it CTRL+ALT+Print Screen or ALT+Print Screen? Wait, my keyboard doesn’t even have a Print Screen.

No problem. The Ribbon makes it possible to insert a screenshot into an e-mail or document with a couple of clicks. To insert a screenshot:

1. Open almost any Microsoft Office program.

2. Select the Insert tab.

3. Click Screenshot (located in the Illustrations group).

a.       A thumbnail view of the available screens will be displayed.

b.       Click on the correct thumbnail.

Don’t see what you are looking for in the available screens or you only want to insert part of the screen?

1. Click on the screen clipping option.

2. Select the portion of the screen to insert by holding down the mouse button and dragging the crosshairs over the area to capture. Upon releasing the mouse button, the selected area will be inserted into the document.
