No Child Left Behind (NCLB) is based on stronger accountability for results, more freedom for states and communities, proven education methods, and more choices for parents. The documents included on this page will assist you in understanding how each phase of improvement is implemented under NCLB for school and districts consistently not meeting Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), and how district improvement plans will be monitored by the Kentucky Department of Education to ensure implementation of the four pillars of NCLB.
