Information in the HSRG includes guidelines, definitions and sample forms for providing school health services. Topics in the HSRG include: coordinated school health programs, school nursing practice, criteria for school enrollment, school health services i.e.-preventative screenings and medication administration, and health services for children with special health care needs.
A copy of the Health Services Reference Guide is to be kept in each school library as required by KRS 156.501.
