The Division of District Operations field staff serves as a liaison between local districts and the Kentucky Department of Education. They respond to districts inquiries as well as provide the technical support necessary to ensure district business operations comply with statutory and regulatory requirements. They monitor district financial and personnel data being submitted to KDE for accuracy and timeliness.
The Division of Financial Data Management field staff conducts student attendance, school activity fund, transportation, health insurance, and management compliance reviews. They respond to district inquiries relative to CPA financial audits and compliance reviews.
