Contracts for nonresident pupils as allowed by KRS 157.350(4) must be submitted to the Kentucky Department of Education no later than February 1 of the year prior to the school year to which it will apply as required by 702 KAR 7:125, Section 14. I.E. nonresident contracts for the 2007-08 school year are due to KDE by February 1, 2007. The list of students covered by the nonresident pupil contract remains due by November 1 of each year. A local school district that has entered into a contract subject to restrictions of the local board of education must attach a copy of the board policy pertaining to nonresident pupils.
