KIDS NOW - Return on Investment RFP - 0900001763
The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified entities to conduct a return on investment study to examine the overall human and economic impact on the Commonwealth of Kentucky's KIDS NOW (Kentucky Invests in Developing Success) early childhood initiative.
This RFP and any subsequent award(s) will be governed in accordance with Kentucky Law.
Description of Services
The service provider will work under the direction of the Division of Early Childhood Development to deliver a final report that can be used by the Authority and the KDE in its work with the legislature, interest groups and Kentucky citizens to document the impact of the KIDS NOW program. This will be a midway report for Kentucky’s Twenty Year Plan and will serve as the basis in establishing support for the initiative beyond 2020.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES REQUIRED
The Kentucky Department of Education is seeking a vendor to develop a ten day unit of study introducing the concept of entrepreneurship/business ownership across various career fields. This unit will serve as an introduction to small business planning/start up and concepts of what it means to be an entrepreneur.
This unit should be developed using the Kentucky Department of Education Standards Based Unit Planning Template and the Lesson Plan template. These templates can be found on the Kentucky Department of Education’s website: www.education.ky.gov/KDE/.
